Following on from the success of the first book ‘Practice Cases For The CSA’ (downloaded over 3000 times),there was a lot of requests for another edition.
The original purpose of the need for the first book had changed somewhat.
With the return to some semblance of normality specially with clinical teaching returning to a large part to face to face teaching the book and its future editions had to adapt.
Reaching out to trainees at the primary care network where I practice and to the health care professionals in training who follow my social media account on Instagram I asked what they felt would be useful.
We decided as a collective to have a collaborative approach in the making of this, the newest addition.
22 of the 58 cases were written by Junior doctors, medical students, Physician Associates in training and qualified ones. The remainder were written by me.
What else is new?
There has been an increasing demand for dermatology cases and so there are 23 cases dedicated to this.
A special thanks to all those who contributed cases:
Georgie Lichtveld, Mo Ibrar, Imogen Milne, Anam Firasat, Adil Rabi, Priyangka Pun, Amy Pridaeux, Esha Singh, Hassan Bilal Khan, Haya Nasser, Rachel D’Silva, Sanam Iqbal and Melina.
If I have missed anyone kindly email me and I’ll update the book to reflect your contribution. Kind regards
