I offer the definitions of what I have read so others might feel moved, for themselves, to read the original work. I cannot try, and neither have I set out, to change or add to the writings of Dr Nicoll. I try here to illuminate his teachings for the many of us who are not theological in our reading or living and who might not in our normal course seek out works such as The New Man. So this book is merely an appetizer!.......in the hope that the reader will, for themselves, seek out and authenticate the amazing, easy-to-follow roadsigns for good living as set out in The New Man and other writings by Maurice Nicoll, .
